We established a set of guidelines that had to be adhered to throughout the entire film. For instance, a complete prohibition on using percussion, as the threat posed by the spiders is invisible. It is discreet and light. However, their sheer number creates dissonance, and the violins go out of tune, deconstructing themselves.
